Is it just me or is time passing really fast? It seems as if last Monday was yesterday, and another one is approaching! With time passing so quickly I always feel like I’m in overdrive, and in a rush to get everything done, but lately I have been realizing that time is not something I can compete against and I just won’t be able to get everything done. I’m learning how to slow down, take and deep breath, and chill out and make time for the people I love and the things I love to do(i.e.: my blog )I hope you enjoy this look! I can’t believe the weekend is over! It seems every time I blink three hours have gone by, so crazy! The weather today was amazingly gorgeous, just enough sunshine, with just enough wind to keep us cool! My look today was versatile enough for church, brunch, and the people watching we did while eating one of my favorites………….Gelato! I kept it very simple and easy! That has been my aesthetic as of recently, easy and breezy! I hope you guys like, and make sure you comment and let me know what you think! It’s so wonderful to be back in the blog world! I had to send my laptop off for service, and though I was able to use the tablet to catch up on my favorite blogs I wasn’t able to do much else. The great news is in my absence I have been able to snap many of my outfits from the past week, so I can share more! My outfit choice in this post is one of my favorite dresses and that’s a big statement! I love that this dress is so vibrant and fun, yet I feel so easy breezy when wearing it! I decided to include some pics of my favorite mall North Park Center as well! It’s my absolute favorite mall! It is fashion heaven and it has the most beautiful artwork, almost as if you’re walking through a fashion museum, the display windows are always gorgeous and the energy of the mall is so amazing! OOTD: Happy Mother's Day

First and Foremost Happy Mother's day to all of you fabulous moms!We can never celebrate enough all what our moms do and the sacrifices they constantly make for us!Today I celebrated with my mom and the rest of our family and we started off with church and finished with a great mothers day brunch!I always feel my mom deserves to celebrate everyday because she is such a great mom and always encourages and supports me even when I might have not had much direction or knowledge of what I wanted to do in life,and other veers of my decisions.Today we all decided to wear all white, and of course I had to differentiate from everyone and throw in a pop of color.I hope you enjoy the pics and I hope that I'm able to post sooner than later since next week for me isn't as crazy as my schedule has been the past two weeks.Don't forget to comment and tell me what you think.Thank you so much for stopping by and until next time..... Laissez les bon temps rouler(Let the good times roll!)

Fat Tuesday has officially kicked off and I started off mine's early!As a Louisiana native Mardi Gras is a huge part of my life and culture,and if last minute work hadn't come up I would have surely been in the mix!A few friends of mine, and I went to Pappadeaux's(one of my fav restaurants) today for a late lunch to try to substitute my Mardi Gras absence,and the restaurant was in Mardi Gras celebration mode and it made me really realize that Mardi Gras is wherever you are consumed with drinks,loved ones, and lots of laughs!(and beads that the festive waitstaff dropped off at each table)Below are a few pics(they were taken under the influence of Mardi Gras margaritas),but you guys will get the picture, no pun intended!As always, thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to follow!
