Often when we are together we always end up changing our plans so when I really want us to do something I usually plan something then on the way there suggest what I really want to do! Today I had the pleasure of meeting up with my favorite girls in the world (my besties) so we can catch up, and laugh until there were tears in our eyes! I feel that as we get older and have responsibilities and relationships that it’s so easy to put our friendships on the back burner. So it’s very important for me not to take my friendships for granted, and to cherish and respect them! We had such a blast, and I can’t wait to do it again! I still get excited when it’s time to go out, and I have to get dressed, and put on my heels, and apply my lipstick. That amazing feeling from playing dress up as a kid has never left, but the good thing is now I actually get to leave the house!(and I’ve polished up a little)Today was such an amazing day for me business wise. I had the opportunity of attending a business branding lunch where business pros shared some very useful tips on branding and integrity that I can’t wait to put into action!To top off today the weather has been so nice here, it’s a little unreal that I can wear a blazer and not be found in a mall parking lot dead from heat suffocation( LOL)! I couldn’t agree with Mr. Armani anymore! The t-shirt is such a basic piece, yet it's so versatile and reliable! Today I had such a great day with my mom and sister while we did some shopping. Shopping is something I inherited from my mom so I always tell her when we shop that she should pay because she caused my addiction! We were able to finish our day together with our favorite dessert at Grand Luxe café. Their red velvet cake is addictive and if you are lucky enough to live near one you must try it! When I found the quote above I thought it was very fitting! Today was one of those days that make life great! It started off kind of slow, since  slept in late, but when one of my friends called  with some great news that they wanted to share over lunch( on them, my favorite kind of lunch) I knew it would be special! I love those friendships that we don’t have to talk or see each other every day, but when we do we can pick right up where we left off. Those are in my opinion the most special! Well the good news is my friend is having a baby, and it comes after her and her husband were told it wouldn’t be possible! Just goes to show you anything is possible with faith! I can’t believe the weekend is over! It seems every time I blink three hours have gone by, so crazy! The weather today was amazingly gorgeous, just enough sunshine, with just enough wind to keep us cool! My look today was versatile enough for church, brunch, and the people watching we did while eating one of my favorites………….Gelato! I kept it very simple and easy! Rain,Great lunch,and a nice change of cooler weather describes my day today. I was ecstatic to know the weather would be cooler today.I didn’t expect so much rain,but you can never have it all! This morning was my thrift day, and as a thrifter you have amazing days where you find treasures  and feel like you’ve won the lottery, and then there are days like I had today where you visit three stores and leave each empty handed. I didn’t find any goods, but I always love the whole experience, it’s so therapeutic!  For me thrifting is best done alone, it seems every time I ever try bringing someone with me I can’t enjoy the experience as much as by myself, it just doesn’t work. Today I kept it simple style wise, originally I just had the gray tee, but I felt I needed something else so I added the vest to feel complete. Today was my first day off with no work in a week, and while it’s great for business, it’s bad for blogging! I feel that when I’m gone for as long as a week that I’m so behind. I haven’t visited any blogs including my own and I feel so out of the loop! Today was a great day though, I was able to do some shopping, get my favorite vanilla yogurt with M&M’s (the simple things in life are often the most fulfilling) ,and finish the day off with a blog post. Tonight I can go to sleep feeling like I did something today for ME that makes ME happy! Well now it’s time to get to the good stuff, so I won’t ramble on!
